French village

I love travelling. Who don’t ? During the summer holidays or just for the weekend, being away from the big city helps us feeling happier thanks to the new people we are meeting, beautiful landscapes, and simply escaping from the huge city.

Discovering new countries, cities or villages can stimulate our creativity. We can be inspired by the world around us : nature, different people we meet, monuments. I love escaping the big city and spend some hours in a small village, just like this one, where these pictures were taken. It is called Villemur-surTarne.

Narrow streets, red-bricks-buildings (very typical for the Toulouse region), an impressing calm and smiling people who can just stop you on the street just to tell you some information about the building you are looking at. Because of course, it is obvious that we are tourists. Well, that is different from Paris.

When travelling, I love wearing comfy clothes, event if I take the risk to put a simple jeans and sweater. Just like these pictures. 3 week ago I spent a weekend in Toulouse and had the chance to spend a day in this charming village, Villemur-surTarne. Anyway, it is so good to be able to spend some days off, in another city or country, while working.
