What’s your Finstagram ?

Facebook, then Instagram, going through Instastories and now IGTV. Great evolution for the American giant Facebook who was inspired by his competitors Snapchat, YouTube (who is owned by Google). So far so good, but the so-called Instagram celebrities are trying to confuse their audience, by creating their Finstagram, or the Fake Instagram Account.

Instagram, did the social app become a real addiction for most of the people today? Yes, I think so. But I also think that there a small part of people who are still resisting the stress. People who are posting only when they have something to say. For sure, when you are a full-time blogger, this is the case all the time. But if you are just a blogger, then the situation is different.

Speaking of the Fake Instagram Accounts, or the account on which some of the bloggers have decided to share their real life, which is kind of contradictory because does this mean that their real life is fake, hmmm kind of confusing, isn’t it? What I was also wondering is about the fact that the Finstagram of some bloggers has barely 1000 followers, comparing to so-called “Real Instagram” where the figure is multiplied by 10 or even more.

Does this mean bloggers have Fake followers on their “Real” Instagram? Or maybe they have followers who are following them because of the contest they are organizing thanks to the brands. There was a very interesting video published several months ago on YouTube, by a French blogger (sorry it is only in French), talking about the explosion we can see in the numbers of followers for some bloggers.

Well, it seems that deciding to have 2 Instagram accounts could be really a strategic decision for your Personal Brand. Personally, I would not recommend it, but still, it is up to you. Moreover, managing two different accounts is time-consuming, and it is not so profitable, because yes, once again, we speak about profitability because Instagram has become a huge business.

Anyway, let’s finish it properly with this look, you can still wear in some countries. It is perfect if you preview to go on holidays in September, just like me. By the way, next destination is Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. About this look, it was shot just before going out with my best friend, in Palma de Mallorca. I just love this place, where I go back when I can. It is weird because I lost a lot there, but at the same time, I gained much more.

There will be a special post about my relationship with this place.

Instagram is a bit tricky as a blogger. I think we are there to create art and an alternate reality to what we see in every day life. Sure I don’t think we should Facetune, photoshop, and be completely fake. But I feel as though posting is quite an art! I don’t think I could keep up with having 2 IG accounts though. Maybe one day!
